My husband immediately went through the questions testing his knowledge and I went through to read the questions and answers because they are witty and very clever.This makes a great gift for your smart adult friends as well as their kids. As an adult, I was given this as a gift and find it very entertaining.
I prefer the original Trivial Pursuit Questions. I looked forward to receiving this and was very disappointed. The questions are very obscure, more academic than interesting.

For example, my favorite card so far was one from math & science, "You have 5 potatoes and 7 children. (one the x) And for extra credit, what formula is this. This is also a good gift for high school teachers to use during down time. There aren't very many questions about the arts, literature, or other humanities.
The sub title of these cards is "600 Facts Every Smart Person Should Know" but it should read "600 Facts Every Person Who Wants to Do Well on the SAT or ACT Should Know" because most of the questions are oriented for people studying for standardized tests like those. Trivia buffs might enjoy it, but not as much as studying students, but there are some gems. THE BRAINIAC BOX includes 600 cards that are divided into three categories: blue for math & science, green for arts & humanities, and maroon for social sciences.
